Currently pursues research related to the impact of climate change, in addition to urban issues primarily related to the urban poor, housing, and environmental conditions. My PhD thesis is titled: ‘Social Justice and Planning Policy: The provision of sewerage infrastructure in Jakarta, Indonesia’. The thesis analyses the contribution of urban planning to reproducing social injustice in Jakarta, using a sanitation project as case study.
